Do you ship internationally?

Yes.

How often do you make your products?

We make our products Monday-Wednesday, Dispatch Immediately.

Any orders placed Friday-Sunday will be shipped out Monday morning.

Our Domestic nationwide delivery Monday-Thursday is delivered within 24 hours of courier pick up. 

For International currently this depends on flights however we aim to have your product delivered worldwide within 8 days. 

Do you offer pick up? 

No. We use fast and safe couriers to ensure your order is delivered safely.

How much is shipping?

Products are perishable, and I take great passion trying to deliver them to you in great conditions. As a result, shipping fees vary depending on where you live and the temperatures the products will encounter on their way to you. Shipping rates are live and are in realtime to the current climate, we do not make profit from shipping.

Can I make changes after submitting an order?

Once the order is packed and ready to be picked up. You will not be able to make any changes to the order. I do not offer any exchange or returns since products are perishable.

Can I request a delivery date?

You can put down the date in the special request box before check out. I will try to get it delivered by that date. However, I can not guarantee any delivery date since it depends on the local carrier.

Do you offer refunds?

All sales are final, and Ao does not offer refunds. In addition, Ao are not responsible for products melting during the shipping process. As mentioned above, I do take great care in packing and shipping to minimise any damage they may incur on their way to you. Ao Tiakarete is not responsible for delays in transit caused by high package volume, weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disasters, terrorism safety control, local carrier miss-scans or inaccurate shipping information. Leaving a package at an address is ultimately up to the complete discretion of the individual delivery person and is therefore entirely outside our control. Customers are responsible for checking that all shipping information is correct before submitting an order as well as in their order confirmation email. Ao Tiakarete is not responsible for any damages once they leave our facility. Our chocolates are best kept at temperatures of 12-18c, away from sunlight with a relative humidity of 50%. Please enjoy our products within ten days of purchase.

How does consultancy work?

If you have a project you want to come to life in chocolate form, either be it bespoke bonbons, products or sculptures or 1/1 pieces please write to me on the contact form explain in as much detail as possible you desire and we can discuss further, I love working with others in this creative space and medium. No project is too big or small. The same goes for recipes and chocolate questions, and projects will be quoted accordingly. and a 50% deposit is required before starting any project. 

Do you cater for events or weddings?

Yes! we love making special events that much extra if you want me to make chocolates for your wedding or sculptures please do get in touch. I do not make cakes. Chocolate only. For cakes I have industry friends who I highly recommend.

Do you employ staff or take stagaires? 

At this current moment in time I am not looking to take on staff or apprentices or stagaires however, in the future I will be open to the idea of apprentices at some stage. no stagaires.

Do you teach courses or classes?

Yes. Please enquire to book me for teaching services. 

Are you sustainable?

I am pro sustainability, a lot of luxury goods are not. I work with only B Corps and sustainable companies. I work directly with cacao farmers and indigenous producers where possible. 

Do you cater for dietaries?

For bonbon boxes they are released based on the consumer in mind, however I do not chop and change bonbons based on single allergy requirements. Once the menu is released this is final. I work with Nuts and Gluten a lot along with other allergens so I don't make allergy specific boxes.

Do you cater for vegans?

Not exclusively, from time to time we do plant based products yes. we will specify if they are.
